ISIS is happy to announce that the company received it’s spacecraft operating license from the Dutch Government in relation to the operation of CubeSats. Since 2008, The Netherlands has a national Space Act (Wet Ruimtevaartactiveiten or Wra) which was amended in 2015 to also include small spacecraft that do not feature any means of orbit control and subsequently ISIS applied for an operating license to support its operational activities. In June 2016, ISIS received the final feedback from the audit team and the National Telecommunication Agency after which the application process was completed and ISIS received the spacecraft operating license from the Dutch Government. This allows ISIS to legally operate CubeSats and small microsatellites from the Netherlands.
